James B. Castle High School began as Benjamin Parker High School, as documented numerously by the local newspapers, and now on the internet by the former Chair, Board of Land and Natural Resources (2003 – 2007), Peter T. Young. Peter writes and publishes photos of old Hawaii on his website imagesofoldhawaii.com.
